	I worked with hanni on a packaging redesign for their Sephora launch.
	



	
	With an exclusive launch at Sephora on the horizon, I worked with the founding hanni team to revisit their packaging and ensure it was retail-ready.&#38;nbsp;
As a D2C brand from launch, the packaging was streamlined and bold, but the system itself lacked education for the consumer and wasn’t FDA compliant — nor did it meet Sephora’s requirements for brands in their store. 
With an existing visual toolkit that the team loved, we made impactful revisions to foundational brand elements like typography and color to better serve a brick-and-mortar setting. We adjusted content layout and re-wrote copy to ensure education was at the forefront; a new color-coded system was designed to help navigation on-shelf, and revisions to the design allowed for consistency between vendors as well as through the print process.&#38;nbsp;

	Packaging System DesignThe overall theme was keep the essence of the original packaging, but make smarter decisions based on print production and brick-and-mortar retail. One of the biggest pain points of the packaging was the lack of a system and reason for color usage, making new product launches difficult for the team to create and, ultimately, a confusing consumer experience.We kept many core elements but ensured they worked harder for the brand. As an example, the hanni team loved the color-blocked design of original D2C packaging — but the colored panels would often bounce in production, ending up visible on the front display panel. A revamp to the design system allowed the color-blocked look and feel to be throughout the line, with razors as blush, body products as coral, and more — not only solving the production issue, but also creating a navigational moment for the consumer.&#38;nbsp;
And, knowing that many consumers’ first interaction with the brand would be in-aisle at Sephora, we took a fresh look at copy and quadrupled what was on-pack while keeping a streamlined look &#38;amp; feel. The result is a system that is bold and striking on-shelf while being compliant with FDA guidelines and Sephora’s brand requirements.

	New Product LaunchesAs an ongoing partner, I continue to work on product development and line extensions with the hanni team. Complementary body products to their signature razor have been a large part of their new launches; I’ve worked on everything from primary and secondary packaging design through designing custom print &#38;amp; patterns for new product development — including their first body accessory, the Shower Scarf.

	I worked with andhale to create their brand from the ground up.
	



	
	On a mission to make purpose-driven habits a core part of self-care, andhale is expanding mindfulness toolkits with their gem-oils. Starting out with a different name, the first part of the project was foundational brand strategy — which led us down the path of naming.&#38;nbsp;
With a new name and core tenets identified, we set out to create a holistic visual identity for the brand. An earthy, elevated color palette, natural materials, and a mix of feminine and masculine typography create a premium look and feel for the brand without being unapproachable. The identity was built out for various platforms: physical, with print and packaging materials, as well as digital, with their D2C website and social media platforms.

	Brand Naming &#38;amp; Logo Design
Starting out as Mindful Harmony, the brand name was among the first items to address. We knew had hurdles out of the gate with the name:  Competitors frequently used the words ‘mindful’ and ‘harmony’ as descriptors for their product (or, in one case, as the name of one of their oil blends). Beyond that, we already knew the product format — an 8ml rollerball — and a petite primary display panel on packaging would only highlight the difficulty of a long name.
Working in tandem with a strategist, a new brand name was created. Playing off the idea of rituals and breathwork, the name andhale was the perfect fit — a more abstract, unique brand name that enhanced the product benefit, allowed for a larger footprint on-pack, and was broad enough for variety in future product development.

	Packaging Design + ProductionBefore engaging in the visual brand identity, the andhale team had already made key material decisions for their product. An earthy, recycled kraft board had been purchased in bulk alongside silver-capped rollerballs (with the company’s signature gemstone applicators). Kraft paper and silver quickly became a consistent factor between the primary and secondary packaging; floral photography printed directly on the recycled board creates depth and visual interest, highlighting a key ingredient in each blend. Silver foil logos connect back to the applicator, and stand out against the black &#38;amp; white print.&#38;nbsp;
Ethical and sustainable practices are a key tenet for the brand, and the packaging is no exception. The FSC-certified board is made from recycled materials, and selections like glass componentry and soy-based inks ensure easy recycling when finished.

	Art Direction
With the visual identity and packaging complete, we set out to bring the brand to life in photography. High-contrast yet soft shadows are found throughout the brand’s assets, including floral elements that echo the product formulations. Earthy colors mimic the palette, with textures brought in for additional visual interest. And the product itself was key — dried flowers and crystals that match each formulation were incorporated, along with elements like clear, acrylic risers and mirrors that speak to clarity and reflection.

	Launch Assets
Last but not least, launch. With a direct-to-consumer site and marketing plan, the brand’s launch assets were focused on Instagram. Custom, one-off posts and templates were created to complement static photography captured earlier in the project, creating an engaging, visually varied look for the feed. Stock photo and video assets were heavily utilized in this phase, combined with the brand’s visual style to make them all their own.

True GraceFull visual identity build for True Grace, a newly launched vitamin and supplement brand. Working with the founding team pre-launch, we created the foundational brand strategy and developed a visual identity that represented health of both self and planet—with a feminine spin.&#38;nbsp;
The packaging suite highlights both recycled and recyclable plastic bottles, and refill pouches were created to help eliminate waste with future purchases. The bottle is a custom structure and features detailed finishes like embossed and debossed logo elements.
Launching with several SKUs, the final step was to create a direct-to-consumer web experience that highlights the product, educates on regenerative agriculture, and doubles-down on the brand’s commitment to transparency.

BiohmPackaging redesign for Biohm, a health and wellness brand that focuses on your gut’s microbiome. Looking to elevate the exisiting brand aesthetic as it related to packaging, we created a brand system that could scale across the current suite of products and new launches.&#38;nbsp;
Staying with the current structure and components, we maximized the label’s footprint by matching the hue to the container itself; silver foil accents help draw attention to the scientific design element, representing a microscopic view of the biome and bacteria.

	OllieBrand identity and buildout for Ollie, a disruptor in the pet food space. Working with the team pre-launch, the visual framework was built from the ground up.A custom wordmark evokes the warm, friendly vibe of the company, pairing it with a modern, graphic visual language. Utilizing a bright tomato hue as the core brand color, Ollie is visually differentiated from market competitors using earthy, natural hues. Large, quippy text is found throughout the branding, wrapping packaging for a dynamic look and feel; brand illustrations create surprise and delight throughout the experience.
The website showcases how the brand comes together—parallax ingredients allow a dynamic, layered experience, while colorful, surreal imagery and playful illustrative moments create a unique and ownable aesthetic.

	TwistPackaging and illustration for Twist, a new-to-market smarthome product with an elevated unboxing experience. The Twist bulb is a speaker and a lightbulb rolled into one, offering multi-room audio and lighting that adapts to the time of day.
The packaging is highlighted by rich brand colors and playful illustrations. Each box is finished in a soft touch paper, creating a luxe hand-feel for the consumer; spot varnish moments add visual depth and portray an attention to detail found in the product itself. 
Twist’s unique product unveiling features a footprint that doubles in size once opened. The look and feel translates into a cohesive system of one, two, and three-bulb packs.

FundaysThe Stable’s first foray into an owned brand, we ideated everything from the brew to the brand. Aiming to stand out from competitors’ white cans and expected visuals, Fundays leans into a brighter color palette, playful design elements, whimsical photography, and cheeky copy. We’re here for relaxing, good times, and pink flamingo floaties. No neckties, formal handshakes, or artificial ingredients. So grab an ice bucket, throw out the lawn chairs, and crack the top. They say every day ends with y. Ours end with why not.
